It was so refreshing to get to go on a tour with someone who is a real insider and knows the history of this part of San Diego. Kristen was so caring and professional the whole time, going way above and beyond anything even remotely required to make sure everyone had an absolutely fantastic time. She was one of the most authentic, down-to-earth, and real individuals I've ever met in my life. The entire experience was so unique and individualized for our group, with so many wonderful and fascinating stories being told by Kristen while we rode along. Even for someone born and raised in SoCal like myself, it is quite an experience! All the historical details that Kristen had about the area were mind-boggling as well, so much to take in and absorb. Regardless if you're from another country or born and raised right down the freeway like I am, you do NOT want to miss out on this adventure, trust me on this, it is well worth the time and money for any and everybody. I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about her tour and go on the other fun things she has available too. She was kind enough to have snacks and refreshments and seemed to be friends with just about every person we came across in Old Town San Diego. In trying to think of areas for improvement, or some kind of 'constructive criticisms' as they call it, I just feel there simply aren't any at all... She just brings a level of excellence and sincerity to what she does and bends over backwards in every way to make the whole tour so much fun, just so memorable, and just so worthwhile... This tour was great! The tacos and margaritas were delicious and our tour guide Kristen was awesome! Don’t be worried if you don’t like tequila, as other drink options are available. Highly recommend this tour!!
Our guide Kristen was awesome, she shared great ghost stories, descriptions of the food and drink and told us the history of the area. The food and drinks were truly amazing. Service at every stop was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and had a great time! Highly recommend this tour and guide!
The tacos and drinks were amazing! Our tour guide Raul was super friendly and always kept us engaged in conversation. I really enjoyed the walking between locations and learning neat facts around town. When we come back to San Diego we will definitely do this tour again!
Raul was a very good guide but didn’t have a lot to work with. Cemetery was very cool! The food and drinks were very underwhelming. I thought we were doing some sort of tequila tasting or at least get try a remarkable dish or drink. I feel like we paid $75 for $25 worth of food and drink. Chips and two tacos and two very small plain margaritas with little or no alcohol. Not even a bowl of guacamole.
