Sail San Diego's private marina is in the Shelter Island area of Point Loma. We also will pass by the actual Point Loma lighthouses during your sailing trip.
You'll get to see the Coronado Bridge on the water, aboard a 40-foot luxury sailing yacht.
We go directly next to Coronado "North" Island.
Some of our day trips sail next to the USS Midway. Book a private sail (6 or more guests) in order to have total control over the cruise route (let your captain know).

We have sailed with them before. We’ve done the sunset sails and the day sails. You couldn’t ask for a better place to grab a sail! This trip we had Captain Jack and the next time Captain Rhys…both knowledgeable about the area and willing to do what it takes to make it a great time on their boat.
We had an amazing time-from chill to excited to inquisitive information-all this in one afternoon. Captain Tom even taught us some moves and we helped to sail the boat. We sailed the harbor and out into the open Pacific Ocean. We then circled back under the bridge-which is an amazing engineering feat to behold. We enjoyed other boats, the sea life and the scenery of the Harbour. Captain Tom made it all so fun for us and out 19 year old Birthday Girl. The boat was immaculate. I will definitely be doing more of this! Lessons? More family next trip? Try out sailing to locations? All day trip!!!!! All this is possible and gives me a new and exciting passion to pursue. My spouse, son, and I went on the mid-morning through early afternoon sail excursion with Sail San Diego on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The weather was great and the small-group sail excursion was very enjoyable. The snacks and cold drinks were a nice addition. The three hour sail was just the right length. The boat captain was friendly and knowledgeable about the San Diego Bay area. Overall, a fun experience!
